Pinchin Architects Covid-19 Response
We’re Open for Business
During the pandemic at Pinchin Architects we have been embracing remote working and we have been using innovative ways to continually collaborate as a team to ensure and maintain clear communication so projects can continue unhindered.
One of our new COVID friendly services is Online Consultations, simply contact us to book yours today.
At Pinchin Architects we have been open throughout the whole of Lockdown, we have managed our workload and adopted new ways of working so that we can continue to provide a safe and reliable service to our clients through this challenging time.
Our current projects have continued both on the drawing board and on site. Working methods have changed and social distancing and government guidelines have been absorbed into daily working practices. We have looked at the risks of working within an environment that has to now incorporate Covid 19 mitigation and safety methods as part of the key processes of a normal working day. We analyse and manage those risks and have evolved to respond to these challenges. Architects are in the lucky position of being able to conduct business largely on computers using sketches, drawings, and reports to carry out design and consultation work. Therefore with a few adaptations we have been able to continue design and technical work on current projects. Our office environment has evolved, and we now also work from home and host team meetings and client design reviews using video meeting software.
Government Guidelines
When the government guidelines allow home & site visit’s we can carry these out for both new and existing clients. In these circumstances PPE will be worn, and social distancing will be maintained for client and staff safety.
At Pinchin Architects we’re aware of the Daily Covid-19 Updates and any new building and construction regulations changes as a result of the pandemic.
Business Services
Many businesses are now also adapting to a new working environment and new ways of working. Pinchin Architects can work with you and your business and can help you change and adapt your premises to allow you to operate in a more Covid Secure Way.
As Architects we can help you replan spaces, reorganise rooms for different functions or help organise socially distanced break out areas and the installation of screens and barriers. In addition, we can also help businesses to adapt and change if income has been impacted and businesses need to find alternative uses for their premises. For example we have helped a business located in Bournemouth called ‘Lollipops’ gain a temporary change of use from a soft play nursery to a holiday rental lodge so that it can move from one use to the other in order to bring in income whatever the prevailing Government advice and restrictions.
