Pinchin Architects working in conjunction with the site owners have created a new concept for a unique accommodation for holiday rentals that can be used for steeply sloping or heavily wooded sites. The two new woodland pods we are proposing are designed to be innovative modules of accommodation that will provide unique accommodation and can be applied to any site regardless of topography or landscape.

The woodland pods are units of accommodation that can be rented to adventurous holiday makers looking for a totally new experience. These units of accommodation are specifically designed to touch the earth lightly and to allow nature to flow around and underneath them, providing minimal distance to natural environments. The pod concept has been evolved from looking at the natural form and characteristics of a seed pod and then translating that into an ecologically driven concept that offers economic benefits in an environmentally conscious way.
