3D Design
As part of our initial planning and design phase we also offer a 3d design service where we build a virtual model of your project which allows you to see the project evolving and developing throughout the design process.
A 3d model can be useful as an early-stage sketch model that can be used to investigate scale, form and relationships with surrounding building and landscape features. It can also be used once the new building design starts to take shape and other design drawings have been developed as the model can be used to test different materials and colours so that you are in control of final choices for your project.
A 3d model is a powerful tool and can help clients and other members of the design team clearly see the impact of the proposed changes. This can be really important when talking to local residents and planning officers as the model can be used to help prove that the proposal is low impact and therefore has a better chance of receiving a planning consent.
